PODCAST: COVID-19 And The East African Blame Game

Countries in the East African region have taken different approaches to contain COVID-19 in their countries. Over the period, Tanzania has come under sharp criticism for the direction taken by President John Pombe Magufuli. About a month ago, I sat down with three Africa Blogging contributors to have a conversation about the different approaches taken by East African states in the fight against COVID-19, and the friction it’s causing.

In this first-ever episode of ‘The Africa Blogging Podcast,’ I speak to Maggid Mjengwa from Tanzania, and Pru Nyamishana and Masake Anthony, both from Uganda.
